Dynamo Youth Water Polo - 2020

If you did not play with us in 2019, please subscribe to our MailChimp list to stay informed.
Dynamo Youth Water Polo is where High School and Middle School-aged (open to as young as fifth grade if strong swimmer) girls and boys from across Georgia develop and improve their technical skills and understanding of the game through USA Water Polo instruction and competition.  Dynamo Youth Water Polo, the only active USAWP youth club in Georgia, is a program of Dynamo Water Polo Club, one of the largest and most successful USA Water Polo clubs in the Southeastern United States.
Launched in 2015 with less than twelve players, DWPC Youth has grown quickly.  2019 headlines include:
·      Grew to almost 100 players
·      Sent four teams (Girls 18U, Girls 16U, Boys 18U, Boys 16U) to the USAWP Junior Olympics in California for the second straight year
·      Seventeen players selected to USAWP Olympic Development Program teams, two invited to National Team Selection Camps and one played in Europe for Team USA
·      Six players moved on to play varsity water polo in college, including three on water polo scholarships.
The 2020 season runs from mid-February through June (through July if we qualify for Junior Olympics).
GHSWPA players do NOT have to choose between spring activity with their GHSWPA team and DWPC Youth.  We encourage them to do both.
Space is limited. Coaches have the right to make cuts/selections as they see fit.
Tentative 2020 Schedule:
Because Dynamo Swim Club plans to replace the Dyna-dome with a building, there may be some changes/disruptions to our year.

The club provides balls, caps, dryland equipment, etc.
